Georges Niang ‘12 Tilton School (NH) Boys Basketball

Tilton School (NH) forward and Iowa State commit Georges Niang '12 showed why he is one of the most improved and productive players in New England this past weekend at the St. Andrews School Classic in Barrington, RI.
The senior forward led his team to two victories during the weekend event that included many of the top prep school players in the country.
Niang scored 22 points in a 71-55 win over St. Mark's School to start a strong weekend of play. Niang also pulled down 5 rebounds and played strong post defense in the win.
In the second game of the weekend event Niang scored 30 points to lead Tilton to a 78-59 win over the Hotchkiss School. His stat line was impressive as the senior did everything for Tilton. He made 12 of his 16 field goal attempts for his 30 points. He also grabbed 6 rebounds, dished out 4 assists, had 3 blocks and 3 steals in the win.
