  • Madison Park had a huge week, defeating The Rivers school Monday in the Black History Classic and then taking the Boston City Championship Friday night with a 66-59 victory over New Mission.  Madison Park is ranked #1 in D1 South and looks to be hitting their stride under coach Dennis Wilson. • In a Do or Die for the playoffs Concord-Carlisle defeated Billerica Thursday night to make it to the D2 playoffs.  CC defeated Billerica 59-46 giving the Patriots an overdue postseason bid.  Junior PG Brima Rogers was the catalyst tonight leading the team with 24 points and countless timely steals.
  • The Maine public boys playoffs are going as expected with a big contest coming up with #1 Cape Elizabeth and #2 Falmouth.  Read more about the Maine contest here.
  • In New Hampshire Prep school hoops Holderness (NH) played inspired ball at home defeating Tilton (NH) 65-48.  6'8 Junior PF/C Imoh Silas played a very solid game dominating the glass and showing a nice back to the basket game as Holderness held court in Plymouth, NH.
  • Sad but decisive decision made in the Lynn English recruiting situation.  Dan Ventura of the Boston Herald has been all over this and reveals the decision here.
  • There is no hotter team in New England than Central Catholic (MA).  After having their perfect season broken up by a fiery Bishop Hendrickson (RI) squad Central defeated two very talented Mass D1 squads in Newton North and St. Johns Prep.  Both close contests were great prep games for the state tournament that Central is hard after this year.  Junior PF Jimmy Zenevitch will be huge in complementing Senior stud Carson Desrosiers in his final run before heading off to Wake Forest next year,
