New England Prep Stars Live Coverage

BC High flexes its muscles in Chelmsford
Special Teams got the Eagles started on Friday night as senior captain Gordon McLeod (pictured below left) took the opening kickoff back 83 yards to set the tone in the game and give BC High the momentum they needed on a rainy and sloppy night.
The offensive star of the game this week was RB Preston Cooper (pictured below right), who scored two rushing touchdowns and returned an 82-yarder back for a score.
The defensive star was junior MLB Luke Catarius '13 (pictured top photo above left) who had 15 tackles on the night and also had a 6-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter to ice the game. The fullback opened up some nice holes for Cooper on the day as well.
"Everyone played well tonight for us tonight," Catarius told New England Prep Stars after the game. "We had guys step up all over. From Coop, to our offensive line, to our return teams we all made plays out there."
Chelmsford received a strong effort from senior RB Eddie Sheridan who amassed 250 all purpose yards to go along with one TD.
CHS travels to Lawrence this Friday night at 7 p.m. in their opening MVC game of the 2011 season.
