* With the loss of Super Sophomore Nerlens Noel to injury it is going to be imperative for Everett's guard play to conitune to improve.  Junior guards Matt Costello and Dequan Lee (pictured right) will have to take some the heat off of Senior football standout Rodman Noel for Everett to remain successful this season.  See details on Everett's victory over Cambridge and Noel's injury here .

*There is no hotter player in the state than St. John's Prep Junior Forward Pat Connaughton.  He has led the St. John's Prep (Danvers) hoops team to a perfect record through the first half of their season and is picking up the pace as the season grows.  Click here for an article on the 2009-2010 Prep squad who are coached by former Bishop Fenwick and Ohio State star Sean Connolly .

*Speaking of undefeated teams....  Newton North has started their season off undefeated at 8-0.  The Tigers handled Milton 67-49 Friday night behind 22 points and 15 rebounds from Yale bound Senior Greg Kelley.  The Tigers will have their hands full this week when they battle Brookline Tuesday and a talented Needham squad Friday night.  For more on the Tigers win over Milton click here.
