Kris Dunn Picks Providence College
Posted on August 24th 2011
Kris Dunn '12 of two time defending CT state champion New London High School (CT) chose Providence College today in one of the biggest recruiting pulls for new HC Ed Cooley.
The former Fairfield Head Coach has made an immediate splash in the recruiting scene and Dunn is his first major coup. After being spurned by Naadir Tharpe '11 (Brewster academy- Kansas) last year PC now has their point guard. Dunn should solidify the point guard position at PC for years to come. He should provide a dynamic counterpart to athletic slasher Gerard Coleman (Tilton Academy Class of '11) of Boston.
We have watched Dunn since his sophomore year and the point guard has improved in all facets of the game each year culminating in an amazing summer with the Connecticut Basketball Club and on the camp circuit.
