Hargrove and the CC defense shut down Bedford to advance to the playoffs

Concord-Carlisle avenged last year's Thanksgiving loss with one of the biggest victories in recent school history.  Concord Carlisle defeated Bedford 25-7 on Thanksgiving day to advance the Eastern Massachusetts 2A playoffs.  Concord Carlisle was led by star RB Jarron Hargrove (SR) who paced the Patriots with 3Tds, giving him 24 on the season. 

Concord-Carlisle's other strong point today was their amazing Team speed on defense.  The CC Defense stepped up and held  a powerful Bedford Offensive attack to a mere 7 points.  They also held All League RB Leon Barnes to 11 yards rushing.

Hargrove and CC will next play for the right to go to Foxboro as they take on Cape Ann League Champion Masconomet, Tuesday night in Lowell at 5:15pm.
